Join the Molecula team as an Inside Sales Representative!


In preparation for a major sales drive in 2024, following the launch of our new groundbreaking product, Ensemble (built on FeatureBase), we're seeking talented individuals to partner with our AI Automation Engineers and Business Development teams to sell and deliver repeatable and narrowly focused “Practical AI” use cases.


Are you a confident Inside Sales Rep (ISR with 2+ years' experience in technical selling) with a discipline for working closely with your peers, can follow a script, and building repeatable sales processes? The ideal candidate is self-motivated, with great communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to be successful in sales. As an ISR at Molecula, you will follow up with inbound leads and prospect into companies to determine new opportunities. You will identify and qualify sales opportunities, owning the initials steps in a successful sales process to build our sales pipeline. Most importantly you will drive communication and tools to setup calls and work with our AI Automation Engineers to make pitches, give demos, and close deals around narrowly scoped use cases. This role is a tremendous learning opportunity (especially in AI) for the right candidate, as you will work closely with the business development and engineering teams. A successful candidate will have experience establishing and maintaining relationships with enterprise customers and pitch the value of "Practical AI" to prospects.  If this is you, we want you on our team!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay on Script: You must be able to stay on script and iterate with the team, we are not looking to do one-off pitches every time. Even though Ensemble can deliver hundreds of use cases, this role is about finding a repeatable sales process for ONE specific use case.

  • Hunt: Identify and qualify potential customers for our new product Ensemble (powered by FeatureBase).

  • Move Fast: Manage time carefully and own full sales cycle processes with a high volume of demand.

  • Generate Leads: Generate pipeline through personalized emails, outbound calling, and prospecting.

  • Be Responsive: Promptly respond and serve prospective clients from several inbound sales funnels, including inbound phone calls, inbound website chats and inbound emails.

  • Have Empathy: The capacity to listen, understand, and empathize with customer’s challenges and needs.

  • Collaborate: Be in sync with our AI Automation Engineers and Business Development teams to develop and execute on account plans.

  • Delight Customers: Exceed customer and coworker expectations by providing outstanding experiences.

  • Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of our products and their value proposition to effectively communicate features and benefits to potential prospects (or customers).

  • Social Media Skills. Proficiency in social media, especially LinkedIn, to use social selling to identify and engage new customers thru digital channels.

  • Be Long-Term Minded: Maintain strategic, long-term, trusting relationships with a high volume of clients in order to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives.

  • Innovate and Collaborate: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product capabilities and contribute to the evolution of Ensemble.

  • Communicate Like a BOSS: You are an over communicator, love to document everything you do, and excel at maintaining open communication at all times.

  • Be An Expert: Stay up to date on industry trends and developments in the AI and ML space to effectively position Molecula's offerings.

Job requirements

  • Have 2+ years of experience in sales.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are able to generate leads.
  • .Have experience with CRM and sales engagement software
    • Our stack: Salesforce, Apollo, Clay.io, Linkedin Sales Navigator.
  • Are able to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a strong aptitude for learning new technology quickly.
  • Have a proven track record of exceeding sales quota.


Nice to Have:

  • Aspirations to manage a team
  • A strong understanding of AI and ML concepts and technologies.
  • Prior experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape for AI/ML solutions in the market


Total compensation will consist of base salary (what is listed on the Job Description) plus commission and the potential of a bonus.


Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.
