We are scaling fast with the launch of our new product, Ensemble, and building the next version of FeatureBase (v6) and are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our team.


Molecula is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Customer Success team. In this role, you'll become a pivotal advisor, helping our new and existing clients harness the full potential of our products to meet their business goals. You will lead the successful adoption of Molecula's products at organizations, guiding them through the strategic and technical facets of implementing FeatureBase and Ensemble. You will work with prospects and customers to remove organizational and technical barriers and identify opportunities to help expand their use of our products. You will also act as a customer advocate for product features and translating requirements into technical solution designs.. Most of all, you are to be an evangelist for our products and technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the sales team, formulate and execute a technical account strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Molecula’s enterprise FeatureBase and Ensemble platforms; while providing post-sales technical support and architectural guidance

  • Educate customers on Molecula’s value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful integration and deployment

  • Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations of our platforms

  • Build deep relationships with senior stakeholders to empower them to be platform advocates

  • Conduct sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using Molecula

  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the Molecula community

  • Be proactive in cloud architecture, local and nationwide communities and groups in our space.

  • Stay up-to-date on competitive information and industry trends to inform our customers and internal teams

  • Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services

  • Contribute to Molecula’s customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, newsletters, and blogs

  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and product teams and help evolve the Molecula platform

  • Be the go-to-person for support channels working alongside our development teams

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our platforms by providing feedback to product management and engineering teams based on customer insights and market trends

Job requirements

  • 8+ years design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications

  • 5+ years of experience in networking; infrastructure, analytics and/or database architecture

  • Experience in a customer-facing, sales aligned role, presenting to small and large audiences

  • Working knowledge of cloud technologies

  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies

  • Exceptional communication skills across internal and external organizations with diverse stakeholders

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience

  • Experience in managing data and information with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker), advanced data processing and integration tools (Informatica, Talend, Fivetran), data warehousing solutions (including cloud data lakes and platforms like Snowflake and AWS Redshift), and analytics infrastructure (Apache Spark, DataBricks, and Snowflake).

  • Experience with developing data warehousing, data lakes, batch or real-time event processing and ETL workflows solutions), including architecture design, implementing, tuning, schema design, and query optimization of scalable and distributed systems

  • Knowledge of the cloud providers (AWS, GCP, and Azure), and other database platforms such as Snowflake, DataBricks, and Pinecone

  • Excellent listener and always has more questions to ask

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to distill technical concepts to a non-technical audience

  • Enthusiasm for working in a highly collaborative environment

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and recommend suitable technical solutions

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and cloud automation tools is a plus
